Spirited Cherry Bon Bons
- 1 bottle maraschino cherries with stems
- Bourbon, Brandy, vodka or rum
white chocolate or milk chocolate chips
- Drain liquid from cherries. Cover cherries with liquor. Let stand for at least 24
hours; drain and pat dry.
- Melt chocolate chips.
- Dip cherries into chocolate and place on wax paper for
10 to 15 minutes until chocolate is firm.
Infused cherries can be stored covered with liquor for up to 1 month.
Try using both red and green cherries. Dip only the bottom halves of some of
the cherries. Use both white and chocolate chips to make beautiful color combinations.
