Holiday Crescents



  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine
  • 5 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract


  1. Cream sugar and butter.
  2. Add flour, vanilla extract and pecans.
  3. Work mixture and form into balls.
  4. Shape into crescents.
  5. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until light golden color.
  6. Cool slightly and roll in confectioners' sugar.
