Jingle Bell Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter; let cool.
  2. Add sugar, molasses and egg. Beat well.
  3. Mix dry ingredients and add to first mix. Beat well.
  4. Chill.
  5. Form 1 inch balls and bake on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes.
