Coffee Dream Bars




  1. Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and blend well.
  2. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and spices.
  3. Add dry ingredients alternately with cold coffee, mixing well.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts. Spread in a jellyroll pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
  6. When cooled, ice with mixture of remaining butter, confectioners' sugar and coffee.
  7. Sprinkle with more nuts, then cut into bars.
