Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Topping

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Crust: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix flour, confectioners' sugar and butter.
  3. Press into an 8-inch square pan.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Topping: Mix ingredients together.
  6. Pour over baked crust and bake 25 more minutes.
  7. Cool and slice into bars or squares.
