Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup grape jelly


  1. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl.
  2. Cut in butter and peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  3. Stir in eggs, mixing well until flour is moistened.
  4. Press half of the dough into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  5. Spread grape jelly over dough.
  6. Crumble remaining half of dough over jelly.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until crumbs are firm and dry.
  8. Let cool, then cut into bars.
