Philadelphia® Marbled Carrot Cake Bars
Yield: 32 servings, 1 bar each
Ingredients
- 1 (15.6 ounce) package carrot quick bread mix
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
- 2 (8 ounce) packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Prepare bread mix as directed on package.
- Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla extract.
- Spread batter into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until well blended.
- Blend in eggs.
- Pour over batter in pan; cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is lightly browned.
- Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into bars.
