Pineapple Marmalade Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pineapple marmalade
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Blend butter and flour together.
  3. Beat egg and milk and pour into the blended flour and butter; mix and pat into bottom of a 12 x 9-inch pan and spread with pineapple marmalade.
  4. Mix egg, sugar, melted butter and coconut.
  5. Pour over marmalade.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
