Rice Krispies Peanut-Butterscotch Bars



  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal


  1. In a 3-quart saucepan, combine butterscotch chips and peanut butter.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in cereal, mixing until well coated.
  5. Press mixture evenly into 9-inch square pan coated with cooking spray.
  6. Chill until firm.
  7. Cut into bars to serve.
  8. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
