Toffee 'n' Fudge Bars

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles crumbs.
  4. Press firmly into prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat milk, vanilla extract and 1 cup of the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
  7. Pour over crust.
  8. Sprinkle with nuts, coconut, toffee bits and remaining chocolate chips; press down firmly.
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

Yield: about 3 dozen bars
