Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 pound) box light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients.
  2. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured baking dish.
  3. Bake for about 35 minutes at 325 degrees F.
