Cream Cheese Filled Strawberry Brownies

Ingredients

Brownie

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream

Glaze

  • 1 1/2 pounds chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1 (18 ounce) jar strawberry glaze

Instructions

  1. Brownie: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Combine butter and sugar.
  3. Add vanilla extract and eggs.
  4. Add dry ingredients.
  5. Spread in a prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool.
  8. Filling: Combine cream cheese and confectioners' sugar.
  9. Fold in whipped cream and spread over brownies.
  10. Glaze: Combine strawberries and strawberry glaze and spread over cream cheese layer.
  11. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
