Mint Brownies

Ingredients

Brownie

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts

First Frosting

  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Second Frosting

  • 1 (1 ounce) square chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

Instructions

  1. Brownie: Mix all ingredients, and bake in a 9-inch square pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  2. First Frosting: Mix, then frost brownies.
  3. Second Frosting: Melt together in a double boiler, then drizzle over the first frosting.
