Mint Julep Brownies

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate and butter in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts.
  2. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat eggs at medium speed with an electric mixer until thick and pale (about 2 minutes); gradually add sugar, beating well.
  4. Add chocolate mixture, flour and next 3 ingredients; beat at low speed 1 minute.
  5. Spoon into a lightly greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
  7. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
  9. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
