Mississippi River Tugboat Muffin Brownies

Ingredients

  • 4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease or paper line muffin cups.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter over medium-low heat. Cool.
  3. Stir in eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
