Peanut Butter Chip Brownies

Yield: 36 brownies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  2. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended.
  4. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually blend into butter mixture.
  5. Stir in peanut butter chips.
  6. Spread into prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  8. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  9. Cut into bars.
