Swedish White Brownies



  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract


  1. Beat sugar, eggs and salt until light.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan and sprinkle sugar on top.
  4. Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
