Venezuelan Brownies



  • 10 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the margarine and chocolate.
  2. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  3. Remove pan from heat and pour contents into bowl; mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
