Fresh Orange Cookies






  1. Cookies: Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sour cream and eggs; beat well.
  4. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
  5. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, orange juice and grated orange peel; mix well.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
  8. Frosting: In a small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients; beat until smooth.
  9. Frost warm cookies.

Makes 6 dozen cookies.
