Self-Frosting Anise Cookies
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon aniseed
- 3 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder.
- Beat eggs and sugar at
medium speed for 30 minutes.
- Add flour mixture and beat for 3 minutes.
- Add aniseed.
- Drop by teaspoons on greased and floured cookie sheets.
- Dry overnight.
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 minutes.
