Cornflake Macaroons

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease well a cookie sheet.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff and dry.
  3. Fold in sugar gradually.
  4. Add vanilla extract, coconut, cornflakes and nuts.
  5. Drop by teaspoonsful onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  6. Bake until light brown.
