Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
  2. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Continue beating until very stiff peaks form.
  5. Lightly fold in peanut butter just until mixed.
  6. Drop by teaspoonsful onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from cookie sheet immediately.
