Candied Ginger Cookies
Bake these only on a dry day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup candied ginger
Instructions
- Form into very small balls.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 7 minutes on a greased
or ungreased cookie sheet.
