Cow Tongue Cookies

Yield: 5 dozen

Ingredients

• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups Crisco
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/2 cup molasses
• 4 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
• 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix dry ingredients and add to the wet ingredients.
3. Shape into balls and then roll into finger shapes.
4. Roll in sugar, and bake for 15 minutes.
