Gelatin Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
• 1 small box flavored gelatin (Jell-O)*

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and gelatin. Stir in flour until well combined.
3. Roll dough into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten.
4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Notes

* Try using different flavors of gelatin in this recipe.
