Ginger Crinkle Cookies


Ginger Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix oil and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and beat well.
  4. Stir in molasses.
  5. Add dry ingredients.
  6. Chill dough for about one hour.
  7. Roll dough to 1-inch balls; dip into additional sugar.
  8. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes. They will flatten as they bake.
