Mini Kiss Chocolate Blossoms

Instructions

  1. Beat butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, egg and vanilla extract in large bowl until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended.
  2. Refrigerate dough for about one hour or until firm enough to handle.
  3. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  4. Shape dough into 1 1/8-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
  6. Place 3 Mini Kisses Chocolate in center of each cookie, pressing down lightly.
  7. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
