Molasses Butterball Cookies
Yield: 24 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a bowl beat butter and molasses with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add flour and beat until well blended. Stir in finely chopped walnuts. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove to a wire rack and cool.
- Roll in confectioners' sugar.
