Sand Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • Confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream butter until soft. Add sugar, pecans and flour, mixing well.
  2. Shape into balls or crescents and bake at 300 degrees F on ungreased baking sheets for 45 minutes.
  3. While hot, roll balls or crescents in confectioners' sugar.
  4. Roll again after all have been rolled once.
