Sand Tarts
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- Confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Cream butter until soft. Add sugar, pecans and flour, mixing well.
- Shape into balls or crescents and bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 45 minutes.
- While hot, roll balls or crescents in confectioners' sugar.
- Roll again after all have been rolled once.
