Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • Confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Cream butter until soft. Add sugar, pecans and flour, mixing well.
  3. Shape into balls or crescents and bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 45 minutes.
  4. While hot, roll balls or crescents in confectioners' sugar.
  5. Roll again after all have been rolled once.
