Wrap-Around Cherry Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 5 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• Maraschino cherries, juice reserved

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix together all ingredients except cherries; wrap small amount of dough around well-drained cherries.
3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
4. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
5. Use cherry juice to make confectioners' sugar icing or glaze.
