Cowboy Country Smoked Pork Ribs
Ingredients
Ribs
- 6 pounds pork ribs
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
Marinade
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup minced onions
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Ribs
- Combine all ingredients except ribs. Sprinkle mixture over ribs.
Marinade
- Combine all ingredients and spoon over ribs.
- Let marinate in refrigerator overnight.
- Place ribs in smoker or on grill over low heat for 4 to 6 hours.
