Scented Stones




  1. In bowl, thoroughly mix dry ingredients.
  2. Add essential oil and boiling water. Note: scent will be strong, but will fade slightly when the pastille (aromatic paste or loaf) dries.
  3. For colored dough, blend in food coloring one drop at a time until desired shade is achieved.
  4. Blend ingredients to form a ball.
  5. Working with a small amount at a time roll dough between palms of hands to form small balls or stones. Note: cover unused dough to keep it from drying out.
  6. Allow pastilles to dry.
  7. You can put 10 to 12 in a small net bag and tie with ribbon.
