Hearty Beef Stew
- 3/4 pound stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 potato, diced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can whole tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper
- Trim all fat from meat.
- Put all ingredients in crockette. Mix thoroughly.
- Cover and cook for 10-12 hours.
