Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim all fat from meat.
  2. Put all ingredients in crockette. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Cover and cook for 10-12 hours.
