Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound round or Swiss steak, 3/4 inch thick
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut steak in half; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place onion slices in bottom of crockette.
  3. Place steaks on top of onion.
  4. Pour tomato sauce over all.
  5. Cover and cook for 8-10 hours.
