Dilled Stroganoff

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 pound) round steak, cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Cooked broad egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Place steak strips in slow cooker; add pepper, onion, mushrooms, garlic, dill and beef broth.
  2. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Add sour cream for the last hour of cooking.
  4. Serve over broad egg noodles.
