Perfect Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (3- to 5-pound) pot roast
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup cooking wine
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place roast in slow cooker.
  2. Top with carrots and potatoes.
  3. In medium size bowl, mix remaining ingredients together and pour over roast.
  4. Cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours or until tender.
