Smothered Brisket




  1. Place brisket into slow cooker and season with garlic powder and black pepper.
  2. Top with green bell pepper rings and onion rings.
  3. Pour half the barbecue sauce over brisket.
  4. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
  5. Remove brisket from slow cooker and slice or shred.
  6. Pour remaining half of barbecue sauce over all and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Yield: 8 servings
