Smothered Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into strips
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 10 ounces frozen French-cut green beans

Instructions

  1. Put steak, flour, salt and pepper in slow cooker. Stir well to coat meat with flour. Add all remaining ingredients.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour.
  3. Reduce heat to LOW and cook for another 8 hours.
  4. Serve over rice.
