Smothered Steak
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into strips
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 (10 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 10 ounces frozen French-cut green beans
Instructions
- Put steak, flour, salt and pepper in slow cooker. Stir well to coat meat with flour. Add all remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour.
- Reduce heat to LOW and cook for another 8 hours.
- Serve over rice.
