Smothered Steak
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds steak, cut up
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions
- Put steak, flour, salt, and pepper into slow cooker.
- Stir well to coat steak.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour, then turn to LOW for 8 hours.
- Serve over rice.
