Smothered Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds steak, cut up
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Put steak, flour, salt, and pepper into slow cooker.
  2. Stir well to coat steak.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour, then turn to LOW for 8 hours.
  5. Serve over rice.
