Pork Roast with Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 5 pound) pork roast, trimmed
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Rinse roast and pat dry.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix in the bottom of slow cooker.
  3. Place roast in next.
  4. Spoon the cranberry sauce around and over the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours.
  6. Remove roast from slow cooker and allow to rest while you thicken the gravy.
  7. Turn the slow cooker up to HIGH.
  8. Blend the softened butter and flour into a paste and whisk it into the gravy.
  9. Cover and cook on HIGH for about 10 minutes, until thick.
  10. Slice roast into 1/4 inch thick slices and serve with gravy.
