Pinto Beans and Ham Hocks
Ingredients
- 2 cups dry pinto beans
- 2 or 3 smoked ham hocks
- 1 bay leaf
- Water
Instructions
- Place beans and ham hocks in slow cooker with bay leaf.
- Cover with water.
- Cook on HIGH for 6 to 8 hours. Do not season as the ham hocks give the dish its flavor.
- Serve with cornbread.
