Pork and Sweet Potatoes



  • 3 pounds boneless pork chops
  • 1 rib celery, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 small can chicken broth
  • 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced


  1. Put the pork chops on the bottom and top with remaining ingredients.
  2. Cook all day on LOW.
  3. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
  4. Serve with piping hot cornbread.
