Chicken and Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken or turkey
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
  3. Serve with lightly toasted sliced almonds.
