  • 4 carrots, peeled and cut in chunks
  • 8 small white onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds meaty chicken pieces, skinned
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 3 cups uncooked noodles

  1. Place carrots, onion, and garlic in a 4-quart slow cooker. Top with chicken; pour broth over all.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  3. Stir in noodles and cook 30 minutes more or until noodles are tender.

Yield: 4 servings
