Easy Chicken and Noodles



  • 1 whole chicken
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen egg noodles


  1. Remove package from inside of chicken.
  2. Rinse chicken.
  3. Put water and chicken in slow cooker.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and take meat from bones.
  6. Add chicken broth to crock pot.
  7. Return chicken meat to slow cooker.
  8. Add frozen egg noodles, a handful at a time, while stirring.
  9. When broth, chicken meat and noodles are well mixed; cover again with lid.
  10. Cook for 2 hours on HIGH.
  11. Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.
