Fruited Chicken


  • 1 whole frying chicken
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar orange marmalade
  • 2 oranges, cut and quartered, with skin on


  1. Place fryer in slow cooker and top with orange marmalade.
  2. Add quartered oranges and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Remove fryer from slow cooker and serve with rice.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings
