Golden Gate Stew
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned
- 1 onion, cut into large chunks
- 1 tall can pork and beans
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- 3 to 6 slices raw bacon
- Put into layers in a slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for about 8 hours
or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
