Pea Soup
Ingredients
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups split peas
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup ham
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/3 cup carrots
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- Prepare 4 chicken bouillon cubes with hot water according to package directions. Put mixture into slow cooker.
- Add all ingredients except milk to slow cooker.
- Simmer for 8 hours on LOW or for 4 hours on HIGH.
- One hour before serving, add milk.
