Artichokes

Ingredients

  • 5 artichokes, with leaf tops trimmed*
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 8 peppercorns
  • 2 stalks celery, cut up
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
