- 5 artichokes, with leaf tops trimmed*
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 8 peppercorns
- 2 stalks celery, cut up
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
- 2 cups boiling water
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
