Mexican Black-Eyed Peas
Ingredients
- 1 bag black-eyed peas*
- 1 can Ro*Tel or fresh diced tomatoes
- Water to cover
- Garlic, minced
- Onion, diced
- Salt pork, bacon, ham or sausage
- Jalapeños, sliced
Instructions
- Clean beans, then add to slow cooker along with the Ro*Tel or tomatoes.
- Add remaining ingredients, and let cook on LOW overnight.
Notes
* You can use any dried beans in this recipe.
